Bent and Broken
We've been a little silent with any news coming out of the Collide camp lately, but don't think it's because we haven't been busy. It's just because we've been in the studio making lots of new things for you.
The big news is that our remix album is coming along, and is in the final stages of being completed! The title of the album is Bent and Broken. It features songs from both Counting to Zero, as well as Two Headed Monster. We aren't going to give away all of our secrets yet, but the album is going to be a double CD, (or extra big download) with 26 tracks.

"Mind Games" on MTV??
We got an email last week from MTV, letting us know that our video "Mind Games" could possibly get into rotation next week, IF we get enough votes on their site. We're only up against FOUR other bands, so we can do this! We haven't made a video in quite a while, so it's pretty exciting news. If you're tired of boy bands or rap taking over, now is your chance for your voice to be heard!

CTZ review from Music Artery
We are still getting reviews in for Counting to Zero. Here's a new little one by Sonya Brown of Music Artery.
Check it out right here.
Re Gen Magazine review
We have a new review from one our favorite sites, Re Gen Magazine.
After reading the review, I guess we just do what we do, but we do it well.
(Counting to Zero)... is full of the same rich production and performance we’ve come to expect and love....There are those artists and bands whose sound is so distinguished and identifiable that you immediately know what to expect when a new album is released. In some cases, this is a detriment indicative of a lack of progress or exploration, while in others, it is simply the musical DNA that binds the whole of the artist’s output together to form a cohesive path of development and style.
Thanks to Ilker Yücel for the write up, and check out the full review here.
Underworld Awakening Soundtrack
We have some great news to finish out the new year with. We have a new, unreleased song, called "Intruder", that will be appearing on the Underworld Awakening Soundtrack, due out Jan. 17th, next month.
We have some very good company on the soundtrack, including The Cure, Ministry, Evanescence, Combichrist, and 8mm. It was one of our goals for the year, to make it on the soundtrack, so we couldn't be happier.
Ravenheart Music reviews Counting to Zero
Thanks to Phil at Ravenheart Music for this new review. It even makes us want to listen to us!
"Their music is seductive, sensuous, slinking, stalking and seriously groovy, like a slow rhythmic rumba of love with a sultry femme fatal. Lying somewhere between Goldfrapp and Muse at their most moody, it is packed with amazing sounds, hip grinding guitars, and swaying beats that make you want to get down and dirty and flirty...A mesmeric record that is perfect for late night relaxation and recreation, dim the lights and feel the rapture, a seductive.

Litany reviews Counting to Zero
Corey from Litany, (Music covering Skinny Puppy, Download, Ohgr, and releated projects) recently reviewed Counting to Zero. Thanks Corey!!
"kaRIN's voice has never sounded fuller and has taken a central place in the mix. ... "Tears Like Rain" is reminiscent of the best aspects of Greater Wrong of the Right. Think Cocteau Twins with teeth or a slicker, groovier My Bloody Valentine wrapping itself around an electronic core. Vibrant and current, this record reignites an aspect of dark rock that has lain dormant for far too many years."
Don't be afraid. Fear.net reviews Counting to Zero
We don't think we're that scary, but we have a new review on Fear.net. Thanks to Gregory Burkart for the great write up, and sending people our way! It's very well written,a nd you can tell that Gregory put a lot of time in this in depth article.
"...the end result is a sonic force that chills your bones, heightens your pulse and makes hot, sweet love to your neurons...kaRIN's hushed, seductive and slightly otherworldly vocals and Statik's skill with sculpting massive grooves out of simple beat patterns allow the band to stretch in different creative directions without losing their sonic identity... which is a very good thing, because with this album they've established that persona more clearly than ever.

El Desierto De Hielo reviews Counting to Zero
For our Spanish speaking listeners, here is a new review of Counting to Zero from El Desierto De Hielo. (The Desert of Ice)
(translated) "Collide mixed, with skill and elegance, post-industrial electronic and saturated guitars, trip-hop atmospheres hypnotic and ethereal, as if it were about Curve relaxed, dreamy or a few NIN almost Gothic Massive Attack. "Counting to Zero" is a dark work, sensual and exciting, where all the element."
